Med students take the basic sciences that dental students take as well in years 1 & 2, and are generally out of class much earlier in the day than dental students. However, years 3 & 4 really suck. WebThe first few years of dental school are nothing like clinical practice. I loved the first few years of dental school and hated the first few years of clinical practice because I wasn’t confident in my hand skills. You get better with hand skills and that becomes second nature but the thing I feel I deal with most is psychology.
