WebI’ve been recovering from a flare for about a month now with a couple of setbacks; I’m currently doing the low residue diet but I occasionally and getting low levels of pain/discomfort a few hours after certain foods. Its quite manageable but I was wondering if that means I went from full liquid to low res. Too quickly? WebDec 17, 2024 · Often there will be certain foods that you may find will trigger a flare-up. You might consider keeping a journal of foods and see if there are any that are triggers. Often the use of fiber supplements (like Metamucil) and stool softeners (like Miralax) can also be added to your high fiber diet.
