WebNov 22, 2024 · Biodiversity loss describes the loss of life on Earth at different levels from reductions in genetic diversity to the collapse of entire ecosystems. In addition to its intrinsic value, biodiversity underpins ecosystem services which provide the backbone of the global economy. WebWe were delighted to launch the ‘Biodiversity on your Farm’ project this year, in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. The project will challenge farmers to find 40 species on their farm across the year. The species have a pollinator focus and will include a weekly ‘Biodiversity management tip’.
